Mr. Bondy grew up acting and playing hockey in southeast Michigan along the shores of Lake Erie. He attended both public and private school during his K-12 years. He then attend Monroe County Community College before moving on to Eastern Michigan University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Language, Literature, & Writing for Teachers and Communications/Theatre Arts. Mr. Bondy recently earned a Master of Arts in the Practice of Teaching from Western Michigan University.
Since graduating in 2006, Mr. Bondy substitute taught (both short and long-term) for various schools around southeast Michigan until 2009. From 2009 to 2012 he taught full-time at Rifle High School in Rifle, Colorado, where he also ran the Drama Club and directed Arsenic & Old Lace, Les Misérables, Dracula, Brigadoon, Robin Hood, and The Wizard of Oz. Mr. Bondy enjoys acting and directing shows in his spare time. He has acted most recently with the Michigan Shakespeare Festival and Notre Dame's acclaimed production of Much Ado About Nothing.
Mr. Bondy and his family moved back to Michigan in 2012 to be closer to their extended families. Over the last few years, he taught for a couple different districts and is very excited to become part of the Ranger family. Mr. Bondy is looking forward to making Cassopolis his home for a long time to come.
